• EasyDefectSubmit

This script pre-fills the Autodesk Defect Submission form with your user data. This makes it quicker to submit bugs by eliminating the process of entering all your details again and again..

The user data is 'hard coded' in the script but easy to adjust even for non programmers.

  • ProViewportSwitcher 2.0

This script makes switching to another viewport when maximized behave like pre-max2010. It prevents a reset of the view so when you switch back and forth you get the view back as you left it.

    1) Relax
    2) Now Drag&drop script into 3dsMax
    4) In 3dsMax go to ‘Customize/Customize user interface
    5) Goto ‘keyboard’ tab
    6) In ‘category’ pulldown select ‘JDBgraphics’
    7) There you’ll find alot of ‘swapToLeft’, ‘swapToCamera’ etc commands. Assigning those to the t,l,f,c,b,p etc keys to override the max2010+ behavior and make it workable again.

    2.0 update:
    -99% rewrite, much cleaner code
-No more errors when switching to fast
-All views now work (there was a problem with the #view_iso)
-Now works with all types of layouts, including 3 and 2 viewports setups

  • ServerPriority

This script will put 3dsMax in a low priority mode when it's started as a render-client trough BackBurner.
This way you can include your workstation in the renderfarm while you still are able to work on it comfortably since rendering is now done in the background using otherwise wasted CPU cycles.

just place it in the 'max_root_folder/Scripts/Startup/' folder and that's it.

    download ServerPriority

  • Qpreview 2.0

News iteThis script will make preview renders from the viewport using the default 'make preview' dialog, when completed it renames the preview file to match the camera's name.

This makes it easier to generate preview files for a ruff edit, without having to manually rename the preview files again and again.

    Intallation:
    1) Download and save script file in a folder of choice
    2) load scripfile in the max script editor (maxScript/open)
    3) do an ‘evaluate all’ ( in the script editor: tools/eval all)
    4) now in max go to ‘Customize/Customize user interface
    5) Select 'JDBgraphics' from the 'categories' dropdown
    6) drag 'qPreview' to a toolbar of choice
    7) save the interface and close the customize dialog.

    Updated to 2.0:
Added error handling and code clean up
