16th century scientists thought they discovered proof of divine creation. The diversity and abundance of the microscopic world had to be the work of a higher power, or so they figured. The museum, where this animation is displayed, asked to visualize that sense of wonder.

 

All modeling done in 3dsMax and composited in AfterEffects.
